Alain Soriano
Alain Soriano, who holds an Executive Master in Tax Management from the Solvay Business School, started his career as a tax advisor with Ernst & Young (EY) in Belgium. He then co-founded the European VAT Desk in 2006 where he serves as Managing Partner. Alain regularly publishes VAT news articles on the website www.vatdesk.eu and is also the co-author of several major VAT books (intra-community trade & VAT, the VAT package, etc.).
He is a legal holder of the title "Certified Tax Advisor" granted by the Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants.

Bernard Ickowicz
Bernard Ickowicz began his professional career abroad and has extensive expertise in the financial and administrative management of companies as well as an international network. He co-founded the firm European VAT Desk in 2006 where he has since been a Partner. Bernard is fluent in French, English and Hebrew and also has a very good knowledge of Portuguese. He has been dealing with VAT issues for more than 15 years, mainly at European level.

Philippe Noirhomme
Philippe Noirhomme, holder of a Master's degree in tax law, started his career as a tax advisor with Ernst & Young (EY) in Belgium and Spain. He joined European VAT Desk in 2011 where he has been working as a VAT Partner since then. He is fluent in French, English, Dutch and Spanish and has good knowledge of Portuguese and Italian. Philippe is a regular speaker at VAT seminars and training courses and regularly publishes articles on VAT issues in specialist journals. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Liège (Tax Institute chaired by Prof. Doc. Marc Bourgeois).
He is legally entitled to the title "Certified Tax Advisor" granted by the Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants.

Eyal Benzenou
Eyal Benzenou is a graduate of the Ecole de Polytechnique. He started his professional career in the telecommunications industry, notably with the Orange Group, before joining European VAT Desk in 2020 as Digital & Tax Technology Partner. His main focus is to imagine, build and implement innovative technological tax solutions for our clients.
